Exploring Jaipur, Rajasthan with India Photo Prints
Myself (Nila Newsom) and Dustin Ellison, have been passionate about photography and traveling through India ever since we met in 2007. We've travelled to some of the most amazing places and captured unique photos of India's rich history, culture and beauty. We've now decided to combine our photos by setting up our own collaborative business called India Photo Prints.
At www.indiaphotoprints.com you can explore our catalog of unique, high-quality prints made on premium archival paper. Right now I'd like to take you through one such place that we've come to love – Jaipur in Rajasthan

Introduction
The Hawa Mahal
Jaipur City Palace
The City Palace is another historical site in Jaipur with some rich history dating back to 1727 AD. Dustin took some time around the old architecture in the palace and was able to capture some really special shots.
The Rose Gate, Leheriya Gate and Lotus Gate
These beautiful 18th century gates are located at the various entrances of the City Palace complex. Dustin captured three perfect shots of these palace gates with their intricate carvings depicting floral motifs representing different seasons and Hindu gods.
The Amer Fort
The Amer Fort is an impressive Mughal era fort located in Amer which is 11 km away from Jaipur city center, built in 1592 AD by Raja Man Singh I who was one of Akbar's most important generals at that time period. Although we went at different times to this location we were able to capture some great shots of this impressive site.
The People Of Rajasthan
Jaipur would not have been such an amazing experience without meeting some of the people who are embedded in both the modern life of Rajasthan and simultaneously a part of it's history and tradition. We were able to capture some unique portraits here which encapsulate the spirit of Rajasthan.
